Former Barcelona midfielder Emmanuel Petit has launched a furious attack on PSG star Neymar.

Barca captain Lionel Messi is pushing the board to bring the Brazil international back to the club next summer.

But Petit isn't so sure, stating: "He plays for him and only for him.

"You put yourself in the place of the boys in the locker room, who live for months to the whims of this type who s***s on the club and its members. He has no respect."

Petit compared the situation with when he played for France with Zinedine Zidane and Youri Djorkaeff.

He also told RMC Sport: “I knew they were able to settle a game by themselves, so we accepted their carelessness in defence. We accepted it, we did their job and their defensive withdrawal because we knew they could win the game with a flash of genius.

"This is not the case, at all, with Neymar."
