Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson's son has praised a Manchester City starlet.

City academy product and 19-year-old Jadel Katongo left the club for first team experience in August.

He joined up with League One promotion chasers Peterborough United, managed by Darren Ferguson.

Speaking to the BBC Cambridgeshire Sport, he said: “Yeah and he's improving, there's no question.

“He's not a right-back, he's a center-half really and we've played him in midfield, we've played him hardly at center-half funnily enough.

“But he understands the role better. He knows when to go outside, when to come inside."

“This is his first loan, he's going to be some player, I tell you."
