Leicester City fullback Ricardo Pereira has publicly thanked former manager Brendan Rodgers.

Rodgers was sacked by Leicester after Saturday's defeat at Crystal Palace.

It brought a close to four years in charge at Leicester for the Ulsterman, who led them to FA Cup glory during his time in charge.

Pereira took to social media to say, "Thanks for these four years," along with a snap of him and Rodgers together.

Along with their first FA Cup in 2021, Rodgers also led Leicester to their first European semi-final, as well as consecutive fifth-place finishes in the Premier League.
