Pedro was delighted proving Lazio's matchwinner at Celtic.

Pedro struck late to earn a 2-1 Champions League away win.

“I received a nice pass, put the head there, and scored. We deserved to win. A late goal always gives a lot of happiness," he told Sky Italia.

“It's a big win because of the goal and the performance. Consistency is key, it gives self-confidence and was so nice to win for the fans who came here.

“I had a bad start to the season because I had ankle problems, but now I am feeling well. I hope I can soon start a game. The coach decides and the most important thing is to be available for the team."

Pedro added, “Games are down to details, we haven't started well in the league, but we need to continue and be consistent now."
