Inter Milan defender Benjamin Pavard says he's enjoying his football this season.

Pavard left Bayern Munich for Inter last summer.

He said: “It's not necessarily the best. But playing central defence is the role that I love the most and I left Bayern Munich precisely so I could play as a centre-back.

“I play in a back three at Inter and have the opportunity to be selected for central defence. I take everything there is to take. I am very happy, I discovered a marvellous country where the fans are incredible. The passion of the fans in Italy is incredible, it's wonderful for me to be playing in Italy.

“Representing France makes me happy too and I try to do all I can."
