Alexandre Pato is confident AC Milan will clinch Champions League qualification this season.

"I can only thank the fans for their support and promise to repay them with qualification for the Champions League," he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"And next season we will roll our sleeves up and do everything to win it again. Obviously, we'll do it with Ancelotti, as nobody is better than him."

The Rossoneri have struggled this season and are under pressure for third place, out of the UEFA Cup and Coppa Italia.

"Our problem is we often don't finish off games. We were leading and let ourselves get caught by Lecce, Torino and Genoa. We should have been more determined and clinical in front of goal, starting from myself."
