Parish eager to stand by Palace boss Hodgson

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson is close to getting the sack, but can still save his job.

The veteran head coach was brought in by the club late last season to help them avoid relegation.

While he succeeded, Hodgson was surprisingly given the job for another year this term.

Per The Mirror, chairman Steve Parish is understood to prefer persevering with Hodgson until as late as possible.

If they lose their next couple of games, Palace may have no choice but to act.

However, Hodgson can stabilize the situation until the summer by getting the club clear of the relegation zone.
