Papy Djilobodji is thrilled with his move to Chelsea.

The former Nantes defender made the surprise switch on deadline day.

"What a moment! It is a part of my dream that is coming true," Djilobodji told Nantes' official website.

"The road was very long, but I have not arrived yet. I need to continue to work, to respect everyone and to show what I am capable of.

"It is up to me to work well and to show people that I deserve my place [at Chelsea]. Nantes will always be in my heart. I will be the first fan. I hope that they will have a good season and reach their aims."
