Wayne Hennessey hopes Crystal Palace can keep hold of Julian Speroni.

The Welsh goalkeeper played second fiddle to Speroni after arriving in January from Wolves.

But he told the South London Press: "We all know Julian Speroni is a fantastic goalkeeper - he's been a credit to Crystal Palace. I hope Crystal Palace look after him.

"He's had one of the best seasons ever - he's on fire. Hopefully he'll come back and he'll be a Crystal Palace player."
