Crystal Palace technical director Dougie Freedman is currently in Indonesia.

Freedman is attending the U17 World Cup as he considers potential recruits for Palace.

The Scot is being linked with Manchester United this week as the prospect of a first ever sporting director for the club is again being discussed.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is interested in Freedman as he buys into United. He also considered him for his French club Nice.

Freedman was named technical director at Palace in 2017.
