Osasuna sporting director Braulio Vázquez has blasted a Premier League signing attempt for David Garcia.
Prem pair Nottingham Forest and Wolves made a late move for the defender last week.
Braulio told Estadio Deportivo: “An English club contacted us.
“It seems to me a lack of respect.
“It was a declaration of intentions of love. They wanted to sit down and talk to us three days before closing so that García could pass his medical examination.
“It's surreal, I had never seen it before. Luckily, we didn't even answer. David himself knew he would hurt our planning a lot if he left.
“His position was not to force anything. So, since there was nothing, we couldn't reject anything."
