Ariel Ortega says Juventus striker Carlos Tevez should be going to the World Cup.

Tevez has been frozen out by Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella.

But former Parma star Ortega says: "Tevez has done so much this season with Juventus.

"Personally, I think he deserves his place in the squad, and maybe even the team.

"He's played a great season in Italy and has adapted to Serie A really well."
