Orlando City are competing with Premier League interest for Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland.
Orlando manager Adrian Heath would love to secure a short-term deal for the England under-21s captain as his club make their debut in Major League Soccer early next year, says The Sentinel.
But he will face fierce competition for the highly-rated keeper following impressive performances on loan at Championship title-chasers Derby County.
However, it is understood his priority in the winter transfer window will be to find a place to play regularly in the top flight - if he can get the blessing of the Potters.
