Orlando City again dismiss links with Man Utd striker Chicharito

Orlando City SC have played down claims that they are in pursuit of Javier Hernandez.

A recent report from Orlando-based TV station WKMG-TV Local 6 suggested that the MLS expansion club have a deal in place for the Manchester United striker who spent last season on loan with Real Madrid.

However, Orlando City president Phil Rawlins, as he did months ago when this rumour popped up, has dismissed the report by telling tribalfootball.com that it is 'all speculation'.

In a cruel blow to the 27-year old striker, Chicharito sustained a broken collarbone playing for Mexico in a friendly with Honduras in Houston on Wednesday night which will force him out of this summer's CONCACAF Gold Cup.
