QPR defender Nedum Onuoha knows Nigeria are eyeing of Chelsea's England U21 striker Tammy Abraham.

Onuoha has watched – like the rest of the country – as the Chelsea owned striker has set the Championship alight with goals for loan club Bristol City. And his form has caught the eye of the Nigerian Football Federation who are still confident of luring him over to their senior side.

He said: “He's good and he's in form and it will be interesting to see how he plays.

"I'd heard of him before he went to Bristol City but he has certainly had a hot start – let's see what he's about.

“I don't know Tammy personally, I might know him a bit better after Tuesday, but it has to be his decision.

“If that is something that he wants to do - and that is in his blood - and it is the right thing to do, then he will do it. And I am sure he will do very well.

“But if it's not in his heart then there's no point in trying to force people to do things they don't want to do."
