West Ham United teen Oscar Borg is creating plenty of buzz in the youth transfer market.
The left-sided fullback has been likened to Gareth Bale and his form with the U16s last season saw him earn a debut with the U18s and finish the campaign on the bench with the U21s.
Borg, who has impressed Premier League scouts up and down the country, is expected to be offered terms by West Ham this summer.
The Daily Mail reports the academy coaching staff at West Ham rate him highly and have taken to calling him 'Gareth'.
But while he is a left-back who can also play on the wing and in midfield like Real Madrid star Bale, the club's coaches think his style more resembles Gareth Barry when he was coming through the ranks at Brighton.
Departing Manchester City midfielder Barry also began his career as a wing-back before being converted into a midfielder at Aston Villa.
