Manchester City ace Matheus Nunes admitted he was delighted to make his debut for the club this weekend.
Nunes played in the 3-1 win over West Ham United on Saturday, which saw City maintain their outstanding start to the season.
Despite a tough game that saw them fall behind, Nunes was pleased to play a part in the team's recovery to get all three points.
“It was very good - I was waiting for that [my debut] since I arrived," he explained to club media.
“I'm happy to make my debut and to help the team get the win. I'm very happy to be here - it's a very united team and very strong with a lot of quality players.
“I want to play always. I want to help the team, and, in the end, we got the result that we wanted. I'm happy.
“He [Guardiola] said first to 'keep going' because we were playing well and creating chances. We didn't score but he said, 'we were playing good and carry on' and that's what we did."
