Notts County are launching a bid for Birmingham City winger Gary McSheffrey.
The Daily Star says the Magpies have launched an ambitious bid to land McSheffrey.
County know they face a battle with Championship sides Sheffield United and Coventry, who are also keen to sign him on loan.
