Nottingham Forest are attempting to re-sign Luke Chambers from Ipswich Town.

Sky Sports is reporting that Forest are in talks with the Tractor Boys to lure their captain back to the City Ground.

Chambers, who left Forest for Ipswich in 2012, is out of contract in the summer.

The 31-year-old defender has played 222 times for Ipswich, having appeared 225 times for Forest between 2007 and 2012.
