The agent of Lyon fullback Ferland Mendy insists claims of a deal with Real Madrid are premature.
Mendy was said to be undergoing a Real Madrid medical yesterday.
But Yves Le Mee told RMC: "Nothing is done. Lyon did not want to sell him this year. It was difficult to talk to them because they wanted to keep him. They wanted him to make the Euros with the France team next season and value him at that time.
"Many clubs came knocking on the door. Discussions were held with Italian, Spanish and French clubs. In the end, Lyon does not want to sell him, but there are clubs that arrive with a certain level. And when we talk about Barça, Madrid, Juve, it's hard to tell a player that he's not going to go.
"Then there is the economic aspect. If these clubs meet the economic demand and the availability of the player, you come back to negotiations. Today, we are in very high price zones."
