Norwich agree deal to sign Motherwell teenager David Turnbull

Norwich City have agreed a deal to sign Motherwell teenager David Turnbull.

The midfielder, 19, had come close to joining Celtic after the two clubs agreed on a £3m plus £250,000 in add-ons transfer.

But Turnbull failed to agree personal terms with the Scottish champions.

BBC Sport claims the newly-promoted Canaries have agreed the same deal with Well.

City will now have to agree on personal terms with Turnbull before a deal is completed.
