Norway coach Solbakken insists no Man City issues over Haaland scare

Norway coach Stale Solbakken insists there's no serious issues for Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.

After 87 minutes in the friendly match against the Faroe Islands on Thursday, Haaland fell to the ground in great pain, but it was not enough to be replaced.

Even so, it may give cause for concern at City, with Rodri, John Stones, Edersen and Mateo Kovacic already on the injury list ahead of next week's clash with Liverpool.

After the 2-0 win, Solbakken said: "There isn't (a problem with City). Never in my time with the national team have I received a request from Pep Guardiola that he wanted us to do this or that. Erling is very keen to play in the national team.

"Before international matches we are worried that Erling will not play, and after the matches we are worried that he has played. It's not good, but City has never said anything to us.

"There is no drama in it. In relation to the match programme, he felt that 45 minutes was the best. We actually agreed on that."
