Norway coach Stale Solbakken says Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is doing his injury recovery in London.
Solbakken, who hopes to have Odegaard join his squad this week, delivered an update on the midfielder today.
He said, "He had to give up in the last training session before the Brentford game. There is no serious injury. He will recover quite quickly, but then the question is how quickly he will recover.
"He has been sent for some scans in London, which he will get answers to. If they are ok, then he will test before too long. It is stupid to test too early, then there is a greater chance of a negative result, so we have not given up there. I'll be surprised if he doesn't play for us during this gathering here. I have good hope.
"He is not feeling well now. Now it is necessary to get a final decision on whether he can take part in both or one match.
"It was easiest for him to be there and close to the Arsenal training ground now."
