Arsenal have reportedly signed Nigerian starlet Kelechi Nwakali to a five-year-deal.
The Daily Mirror is reporting the Gunners paid a fee of £3million to Nigeria's Diamond Football Academy to secure the services of the 17-year-old.
The midfielder was named Player of the Tournament as Nigeria secured the U-17 FIFA World Cup in Chile last season.
Nwakali had also received interest from Bayern Munich and Manchester City, but revealed he chose Arsenal as they were the team he supported as a child.
"I just came back from London, I have signed a five-year contract with Arsenal," Nwakali is quoted as saying.
"So many teams were interested in me but it has been my dream at a tender age to play for Arsenal."
