Manager Eddie Howe admitted at the weekend after Newcastle's 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest that Wilson had an arm issue.

There is a chance he could play through the pain in the coming weeks, but that has not yet been decided.

Wilson has been restricted to only eight league starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League due to injuries this term.
