Newcastle will set up Pardew with video analysts in hotel room if banned from stadiums

Newcastle United will count on Alan Pardew during games - even if he's banned for the remainder of the season.

The Journal says Newcastle will set up video analysts in a hotel room for manager Alan Pardew as part of a contingency plan formulated to cope with life without their manager on the touchlines for the foreseeable future.

Pardew's personal hearing is scheduled for this afternoon at Wembley and having already admitted a charge of improper conduct, the United manager is expecting a heavy sanction for his touchline altercation with David Meyler.

Pardew will pick and prepare the team as normal for the trip to Fulham, with the club's preparations beginning after a scheduled day off on Wednesday.

The respected and experienced United assistant John Carver is expected to lead the Magpies out at Fulham with Steve Stone acting as his number two.
