Newcastle United are watching Eddie Nketiah's situation at Arsenal.

The Telegraph says Nketiah, 21, has not been an automatic first choice for Mikel Arteta but played diligently when Alexandre Lacazette was out of the side after lockdown.

He spent the first half of last season on loan at Leeds, but that was cut short due to an injury crisis at the Emirates.

The Toon would want Nketiah on loan.

Nketiah walked home with the match ball after scoring a hat-trick for England Under-21s against Kosovo.
