Newcastle United are ready to move for Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
Nick Pope could be missing for four months as he faces a shoulder operation.
The Mirror says Newcastle are considering making another attempt for Lloris.
The 36-year-old is available from Tottenham and had the chance to move to Newcastle at the end of the summer, but turned it down.
The former France goalkeeper's contract is running down. However, Newcastle only want to loan Lloris if they choose to go for him.
Keylor Navas, 36, is also an option for Newcastle. He is a backup at Paris Saint-Germain and is also on an expiring contract.
