Newcastle taunt Sunderland with Colback match programme tribute

Newcastle United have fanned the flames ahead of their red-hot derby with Sunderland with a controversial image of Jack Colback on the front of the matchday programme.

The drawing features Killingworth-born Colback in a Toon shirt with his hand on the club crest and the Tyne Bridge in the background.

The Black Cats were bitterly upset when their Academy product joined his hometown club on a free transfer after running down his contract.

And Newcastle were equally angry when Sunderland's official Twitter page announced the news with a picture of Colback putting his finger to his lips after scoring against them last season.
