Newcastle striker Isak: What mark would I give myself?

Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has given himself a mark of '7 out of 10' for a first season in England.

Isak impressed, though also battled with injury during the campaign.

In the end, there were 22 league matches and ten goals. He was also likened to Thierry Henry.

"It is faster, much more running than in Spain. It took a while from getting healthy until I was fully trained for the high pace. Then I also performed better, on all levels," Isak told TT.

"That we made it to the Champions League was the best ending we could get to this fantastic season. I think the team has been good throughout the year. I have also been very involved during the spring."

Isak is convinced that he has more to give in the future and rated his season.

"Difficult, maybe a seven (out of ten). Then I really rate the spring season because I missed almost the entire autumn."
