Newcastle United's man of the moment Alexander Isak cannot hide his delight at quickly becoming a fan favorite.
Isak put in a great display and scored a fine goal in a 2-1 win over Wolves in the Premier League at the weekend.
The Swedish striker is finally match fit after spending months on the sidelines following his summer transfer to the club.
Asked about being compared to Alan Shearer, Isak told Chronicle Live: "I'm well aware of his game. I try to look at my own game and see what I can improve.
"Obviously, those type of goals are what you need to deliver as well. That was nice for me."
He added on targets for the rest of the season: "It's been quite hard for me to set targets with the way my season has gone.
“With the way things have looked, I just want to keep playing and keep delivering, and finish strong for me and the team."
