Newcastle United striker Shola Ameobi says the FA should take another look at Wigan Athletic attacker Callum McManaman's tackle on Massadio Haidara.

McManaman escaped action from the challenge.

Ameobi told Sky Sports: "Whatever helps the game, you have pros and cons to every argument, but I have always had an open view.

"Whatever can make the game better for all parties, for players and for the fans, I think it is only right that we address those issues."
