Newcastle United captain Fabricio Coloccini is chasing a spot in Argentina's World Cup squad.
Coloccini, who has 38 international caps to his name, hopes his club form will put him in contention for a place in Argentina's 2014 World Cup squad, wherever he ends up playing his trade.
The Newcastle captain said: "You have to be patient.
"Alejandro Sabella is testing other players, he has used five new players in the recent friendly games, but I have the desire to be included on the final list."
