Newcastle United signing Jack Colback is looking forward to facing former club Sunderland next season. Newcastle are scheduled to take on Gus Poyet's Black Cats at St James's Park on December 20 - and make the return trip to Wearside on April 4.
Colback told the Sunderland Echo: "The derby at the Stadium of Light will be fun! It's one I'll relish, to be fair.
"To be able to play in a derby as Newcastle player will be something special. It'll feel different. I played for Sunderland against Newcastle, but that was my job.
"I was never going to say 'I can't play in this game' to the gaffer, or anything like that.
"To put on a Newcastle shirt and play against Sunderland is going to be extra special."
