Newcastle United are ready to go back in for a previous transfer target this summer.

The Magpies are said to have rekindled interest in Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

The English shot stopper is backup to David Raya at the Emirates Stadium club.

Per The Mail, manager Eddie Howe wants to add Ramsdale to his Newcastle squad.

He is a big admirer, having signed Ramsdale for Bournemouth from Sheffield United.

Raya is signing permanently for Arsenal after being on loan this season, which will mean the no.1 spot is locked up for the time being.
