Newcastle United are making a move for Fenerbahce superkid Arda Guler.

The 18 year-old midfielder is rated the best of his generation in Turkey and tipped for great things across Europe.

Guler has been watched by the likes of Arsenal, Ajax and Inter Milan.

But Newcastle are stepping in and aiming to bring the youngster to England.

Karar says Magpies' representatives will hold a meeting with Guler and his family in the coming days in Istanbul.

For their part, Fener would like Guler to stay for one more season.
