Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali is in Italy in a bid to save his season and possibly his career.
The midfielder has been accused of committing illegal gambling offenses in his homeland.
Tonali, who left AC Milan for the Magpies in the summer, may even have bet on his own team.
Per Chronicle Live, the anchorman has flown to Italy to speak with the Turin Public Prosecutor's Office.
Tonali is hoping that he can clear his name, at least with respect to some of the allegations.
He may even plead guilty to other offenses in the hopes of being given a lighter punishment.
