Newcastle United have made a second offer for Santos attacker Angelo Gabriel.

Gabriel turns 18 in December and his contract to 2024 carries a €60m buyout clause.

Baixada Esporte says Santos president Andrés Rueda would have received a second offer from Newcastle of about €25m; the Brazilian club is asking for €30m for a player who has scored two goals and provided six assists this season.

Newcastle, for the moment, is getting a clear run at Gabriel.

However, there has been claims Barcelona have been attempting to secure an option on the youngster.
