Newcastle United planning to make a loan swoop for Leicester City attacker Islam Slimani, according to reports from the Chronicle.

Newcastle United are clearly struggling at the moment and one of the areas the Magpies desperately need to improve upon is their attack.

Slimani is one of the names that have been linked with Newcastle United in recent times.

And according to reports, the Tyneside based outfit have launched an official loan enquiry for the Algerian international.
