Newcastle joining interest for Brighton attacker Leandro Trossard

Newcastle United are joining the interest for Brighton attacker Leandro Trossard.

The Northern Echo says Newcastle are also considering a move for the left-winger as Eddie Howe looks to strengthen his squad in the January window.

Howe is targeting depth in wide areas amid concern over Allan Saint-Maximin's injury record.

Trossard has impressed with his performances for Brighton this season, scoring seven goals in 12 Premier League matches so far, and is valued at around £30million.

The Belgian forward, 27, has reportedly attracted the interest of the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid following his superb start to the campaign.
