Newcastle United defender Fabian Schar believes his side must not concern themselves with other teams in the top four race.
The Magpies are very much in with a shout of finishing in the Champions League spots.
However, as the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool try to close the gap, Schar believes they must focus on themselves, not worry if their rivals will or will not falter.
Schar told Chronicle Live: "I don't think so because they are used to it [big teams having midweek European games while Newcastle do not].
"They do it every year, they have big squads and know how to handle it.
"They have been doing for years so it won't make a massive difference. It's still Liverpool, still more or less the same team."
