Newcastle United defender Sven Botman was delighted to be part of victory at Tottenham.
The Dutchman is - remarkably - yet to taste defeat in a Newcastle shirt following his £34million move from Lille in the summer. But he was quick to credit his team-mates after the win at Spurs.
When asked if a good team was based on a solid defensive rearguard, Botman told Chronicle Live: "No, it's not - we credit every player. It's the whole team. We're happy with everybody and the whole squad competed."
And Botman also felt that United's cagey start - which saw Heung-min Son have four chances in the first 11 minutes - was not as bad as it looked.
A cool Botman explained: "They were shooting from far away and from distance at the beginning but they have a lot of qualities. The first 10 minutes were a little bit hard for us but then after we did very well.
"It's been good. Good results every time I have played. We've done well so far and we'd like to keep doing this, that's it. I'm just doing my best and that's all I can do."
