Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew hopes Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole can find his way back into the game.

Cole is being frozen out at Anfield this season. Pardew said: "Joe's a great talent and, for whatever reason, something has gone missing.

"I remember at West Ham, we played Chelsea and I turned round in my dressing room and he was in the middle of it, chatting with everyone - as if he was going to play for me!

"This was BEFORE the game. I had to chase him out! He's an infectious guy and I hope he finds his feet."
