Newcastle boss Howe talks up Miley, Pope ahead of PSG clash

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe won't hesitate selecting Lewis Miley for their Champions League clash at PSG.

The teen impressed in victory over Chelsea on Saturday.

Howe said, "There's every chance he'll feature again [at PSG]. I think he's ready. He was the exact same Lewis after the [Chelsea] game. It was just another game for him. He's got a great temperament for these occasions."

Howe also praised goalkeeper Nick Pope who took part in their Champions League presser.

He said, "He's been huge for us. He's brought a confidence to the back line. We're lucky to have some good goalkeepers at the club. The save he made at Chelsea was outstanding.

"Those key moments, big saves, they're the things that elevate us as a team. He's a calm character and very popular in the dressing room."
