Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe is happy keeping hold of Miguel Almiron.
The Paraguay has attracted an offer from Al Shabab this month.
But on transfer deadline day, Howe said: "I am confident that he will stay now and I am happy because he is a very important player. What a person and what a professional he is! He received a lot of speculation in the media, but that didn't affect him at all.
"I expect this negotiation window to end soon. I think there is now very little time to be able to do anything, both incoming and outgoing here's the situation. I don't think we have the capacity to do anything. As far as I know at the moment, nothing will happen, although there is still time."
