Newcastle boss Eddie Howe expects Sandro Tonali to be involved for tonight's Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund.
Tonali's betting hearing in Italy is continuing today, with the midfielder facing a 10-12 month ban.
Howe said, "As far as I'm aware, I'm expecting him to be available tomorrow. I'll plan like that until told differently. He's trained today.
"I've heard very little because I've been preparing for the game. I will continue to (think that way) until I am told otherwise."
On signing a replacement for Tonali, the manager added: "It's too early for meetings about that. Until we hear for definite, we'll have time to discuss that. But now is not the time."
