Newcastle boss Eddie Howe retains hope of European qualification.

Victory over West Ham last weekend has given the Magpies an outside chance.

Ahead of going to Fulham tomorrow, Howe said: "It is difficult to transport myself to the future to talk about something as if it has already happened - I can't do that.

"But I have seen two really good performances in our last two matches and we have looked much more like our old selves.

"I am really pleased with the last two games. Now we need consistency. That is what I want to see between now and the end of the season, and we have got eight games to show it."
