Newcastle boss Howe concedes Willock injury concern

Newcastle United will have to carefully monitor Joe Willock's fitness in the coming weeks.

The midfielder was crucial for the Magpies against Manchester United on Sunday.

Willock scored and played a pivotal role in a resounding 2-0 home win over the Red Devils.

As they prepare to take on West Ham United in midweek, manager Eddie Howe admitted he may have to rotate Willock.

Speaking after the game, Howe said: "I am unsure, Joe is an obvious one he was holding his hamstring, it could have been cramp."

He then added: "When you are on the pitch, play to your maximum levels, when you get your moment you take it."
