Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe admits they'll face AC Milan undermanned.

Sean Longstaff, Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes did not train on the eve of AC Milan's visit for the Champions League Group F finale.

Howe said: "Maybe the team and squad hasn't progressed mainly because we haven't seen players since [due to injuries].

"We are not moaning about the situation we are in. It's great to have two players back, gave us a huge lift.

"We're going into the game confident."
