Newcastle United remain keen on Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis.
Lazio will rival Newcastle in the race to sign Lyon forward Gomis in January, with interest also from Swansea City and Cardiff City, says the Daily Express.
It will be Alan Pardew's second attempt to sign the France international, with a failed move in the summer due to his high wage demands.
Gomis reaches the end of his contract in the summer, with Cardiff and Swansea also on alert of the 28-year-old's future availability.
The Premier League outfits all face competition from Serie A, with Lazio looking for a replacement for Miroslav Klose.
